Welcome to Jennifer Knits. Summer is here! Wow, time flies when your fingers are furiously knitting fabulous fibers! New at Jennifer Knits are “Plie” with and without beads from Tilli Tomas, a gorgeous new silk in a variety of vibrant colors. Misti Alpaca has a super soft new Silk and Suri blend plus new colors in all of their hand painted yarns. We have new sweater samples and patterns arriving weekly. Hurry, come visit!

Classes for June/July 2008
Classes are offered monthly at Jennifer Knits. Classes are limited to EIGHT students per class.  The following classes will book quickly so sign up ASAP.  Call for sign-up and/or details 310-471-8733. 

Sunday, June 22th: 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Crochet Part II. Laura teaches you to make a tri-colored square. Learn how to crochet the square plus how to follow in crochet instructions. You’ll need to know the basics (sc, dc and trc) for this class. Limited to 6 students. Supplies not included.

Sunday June 29th 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Jennifer’s “Fix It” class. Learn to rip rows, fix dropped stitches, follow a pattern and how to properly measure. Jennifer teaches you all of the tips you need to become a master knitter. Jenn will customize this class based on attendees. *Only eight to a class. Just bring some yarn and needles.

Every Tuesday: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
When is it quiet at Jennifer Knits? Tuesdays 5 pm to 7 pm. Get some knitting help, have a glass of wine with snacks, check out all of our new yarn, have Jenn design the perfect sweater for you! NO CHARGE

Class fees are $50 per student (unless otherwise noted) and a maximum of 8 students will be enrolled.  Class must be paid in full two weeks prior to date and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Having a baby or bridal shower? How about a birthday party? Jennifer Knits is the perfect theme!
Your *cost is $125 per hour for up to 20 guests. $200 for 21 – 40 guests. Fee do not included the cost of supplies. Our shower suggestion is yarn to make a blanket for the honoree which we roll in very small balls for each of your quests to make a square. For a birthday get your guests yarn for their own scarf. Knitters get to keep their needles and receive complimentary help in Jennifer Knits at any time after the party. We can also make custom invitations which we help you design any way you like.

Private Time with Jennifer
Jennifer is available for private lessons in house or at your home.  Prices at our Jennifer Knits location are $65 per ½ hour with a 1 hour maximum.  House call prices are $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. There is a $20 flat fee in addition if you are located more than 5 miles from Jennifer Knits.  Receive a complimentary ½ hour in our store with $500 minimum purchase. 

*All classes and private lessons are available only to clients using Jennifer Knits products. Saturday parties are available for a greater fee.
