Welcome to Jennifer Knits. For 2010, Jennifer's New Year resolution is to keep the class page updated and to regularly upload our new yarns. We have so many wonderful fibers, designs and accessories to post while at the same time making sure you get the help you need in the store. To accomplish it all, we have more staff this year. Classes for Winter 2010

Classes are offered monthly at Jennifer Knits. Classes are limited to EIGHT students per class. The following classes will book quickly so sign up ASAP. Call for sign-up and/or details 310-471-8733

Monday, March 8th - 11 am to 1 pm

Jennifer's "Fix It" class. Learn to rip rows, fix dropped stitches, follow a pattern and how to properly measure. Jennifer teachers you all of the tips you need to become a master knitter. Jennifer will customize this class based on attendees. *Only eight to a class. Just bring some yarn and needles.

Tuesday, March 23rd - 4 pm to 8 pm

Tanglewood Cashmere Trunk (aka Candy Show). Owner, Trish brings her baskets of her incredible Tanglewood yarns. Hand Dyed and Hand Spun fine cashmere, merinos and silks. Authentic gem stones will run through these one of a kind fibers. Have Jennifer create the perfect complimentary design for all of your purchases.

Monday, April 6th - 11 am to 1 pm

Advanced Finishing Class. Do you sew but it just doesn't look right? Not to worry, let Jenn show you proper seams, 3-needle bind off, picking up stitches and weaving ends. Learn how to correctly measure and block your work before starting to complete any garment.

Class fees are $50 per student (unless otherwise noted) and a maximum of 8 students will be enrolled. Class must be paid in full two weeks prior to date and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Jennifer Knits Happy Hour. Enjoy a little vino and some treats while Jennifer, Cheryl and Ariella help answer ANY of your knitting or pattern questions. This is the perfect get-a-way, so tell your family you're at class and come hang with us!

Classes to come featuring yarn artist Myra Wood who specializes in knitted lace along with other local designs and teachers. Trunk shows from Prism Yarns, Classic Elite, Trendsetter and more! Owen Botner will return this summer.
